Have You Heard About Children Making Money Selling Chore Charts For Children?

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share this with you.

Here is an article I just posted on my Allowance Secrets Blog.

Enjoy!

Have you heard about children making money selling chore charts for children? This is a creative way children can earn their own money.

I am a firm believer in children earning their own money. All children of any age! ;o) With your supervision, your encouragement and patience, your children can earn their own money. When children earn money on their own, their self-esteem and confidence grows.

When children work hard for their own earnings and purchase items with that money, they learn respect, responsibility and appreciation of the almighty dollar. This increases their chances of ending up on a strong financial ground as well.

Why can your children make money selling chore charts for children? The number one reason is that chore charts for children are needed by children in order to keep track of their chores. Every parent knows that! ;o) What parents many times don’t know is where to find these chore charts.

How can your children make money selling chore charts for children? Children who are usually creative by nature can make money selling different kinds of these chore charts. Think of it: most children love to play with crayons and markers. Even at a young age, children love to create their own masterpieces which are usually displayed proudly on kitchen refrigerators. ;o)

Let your children get busy creating different and special chore charts for children. They can then sell these unique creations at reasonable prices to eagerly awaiting parents. And before you know it, your children are making their own money selling their own art. How awesome is that? ;o)

This brings me to another subject: allowances. A lot of parents combine children allowances with children chores. I don’t. (Really, I don’t!)

I combine encouraging children to find kid-friendly, creative ways to make money (like selling their own artistic chore charts for children) with being responsible for their own family chores (usual and ordinary ones). I then encourage children to get paid for doing unusual and extraordinary chores for their family and friends.

That’s pretty awesome too! ;o)

The topic of allowances combined with chores has been hotly debated for years. Here is my free, downloadable ebook “Allowance Secrets: To Give or Not To Give” where the top 25 “kids and money” experts, family coaches, and highly successful entrepreneurs share their personal opinions and tips on whether or not children should be given allowances and how chores fit in and the need for chore charts for children.

No matter where you stand on the issue of giving allowances for chores vs. earning your money and getting paid for chores, chore charts for children are still needed. Without them, children will have a hard time scheduling when their chores – usual and ordinary or unusual and extraordinary – are needed to be done.

Let’s hear it for children making their own money selling chore charts for children! Children will love earning their own money and becoming secure with money.
